To Promote Safety at Motorsports Events
Speedway Fire/Rescue is dedicated to promoting safety at Motorsports events. We have certified Firefighters, EMT's, and Emergency Rescue Technicians in our crew. We use standard, and special tools in order to fight fires, and perform rescues in racing environments. The action is fast paced. The racing promotors count on us to quickly, and safely control many dangerous situations. When we do our job well, the promotors can put on a good show for the paying public. The race drivers, and crews of the race cars, count on us to minimize damage to the race equipment, and keep the drivers safe, and not agrivate any injurys sustained during an accident, or fire. We at Speedway Fire/Rescue are proud of what we do, and we have worked hard to keep a professional reputation, for over thirty years.

Our mission, and goals
We are always looking for volunteers to join our crew. It takes hard work, long hours, and good training to become a member. After being accepted into membership, there is a one year probationary period, just the same as many municipal Fire Departments have. We wear a uniform, so that we are easily recognized, and to maintain a professional appearance. At the end of one's probationary period, you are expected to obtain your own personal protectve equipment. A sponser is reccomended, as the gear can get expensive. Training is usually handled in house, but there is outside training available too. No previous training or experiance is required, but of course, the more you have, the better equipped you will be to handle emergencies.
